Yitaining Neng Fine Chemicals’ FTO alkanes fine separation project produced high-quality W-20 and W-40 light white oils. Author/Source: Huahua Network Coal Chemicals. Date: 2019-09-29. Clicks: 51. On September 26, Yitaining Neng Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd.’s 500,000-ton-per-year FTO alkanes fine separation project yielded high-quality W-20 and W-40 light white oils. The Itaening Fe-to-alkanes fine separation project commenced chemical feeding at 17:00 on September 8, and after 18 days, it produced qualified W-20 and W-40 light white oils. Meanwhile, the molecular sieve material meets the required standards; liquid filling of the adsorption tower began on September 26, and the production of the project’s n-paraffin and isoparaffin product lines is now in countdown mode. The 500,000 tons per year fine separation project for fischer-tropsch alkanes by Yitaining Energy Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd. is located to the west of Tai Si Road in the southern area of the Duguitala Industrial Park, Hangjin Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It was invested and constructed by Yitaining Energy Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd. of Inner Mongolia, with a design capacity of 150,000 tons each for n-alkanes and isomeric alkanes. The project saw the start of civil engineering work on May 29, 2018, and unit-by-unit handover began on May 30, 2019; by June 15, all main units had been handed over. This project processes 1.2 million tons per year of FTO crude wax and 540,000 tons per year of stabilized alkanes from Inner Mongolia Yitai Chemical Co., Ltd.’s fine chemicals production facility. The main products include n-alkanes, isomeric alkanes, n-hexane, n-heptane, light white oil, and industrial white oil; the production volume is 502,000 tons, with the remaining 38,000 tons of straight-chain alkanes being sent back to Inner Mongolia Yitai Chemical Co., Ltd. Supporting facilities such as storage, transportation, loading, and unloading equipment, hard wax warehouses, and recirculating water systems are constructed as part of the auxiliary production and utility infrastructure; facilities for exhaust gas recovery, wastewater treatment, flare systems and flare gas recovery, as well as water and power supply, are developed based on the 1.2 million tons per year fine chemicals project carried out by Inner Mongolia Yitai Chemical Co., Ltd.
The number following oil W indicates the dynamic viscosity of the oil at 100°C; the higher the value, the greater the viscosity. W-40 refers to a kinematic viscosity standard of between 12.5 mm2/s and 16.3 mm2/s at 100 degrees Celsius; it is by no means suitable for use at temperatures below 40 degrees Celsius.
