Pilot Production of Inner Mongolia Jushi Energy’s 200,000 tons/year FTO Synthesis Project / Author/Source: Yahuah Coal Chemicals / Date: July 16, 2019 / Clicks: 8. On July 5, 2019, the wax formation unit of Inner Mongolia Jushi Energy Co., Ltd.’s 200,000 tons/year FTO synthesis project, which was overseen by Sanmu Environmental Protection, completed its first pilot production run successfully; to date, 200 tons of high-quality FTO refined wax have been produced. This trial production of the wax molding equipment is a preparatory step for the full commissioning of the FTO project; it will help to shorten the time required for the entire process to go into operation, marking the first successful step in the company’s advanced processing of FTO wax. Since the groundbreaking of the 200,000 tons per year FTO synthesis project on April 12, 2016, the company assembled a team of highly skilled professionals to carry out the project construction in an efficient and scientific manner, achieving completion by the end of December 2018. Since March this year, through the close cooperation among various departments and workshops, all preparations for trial production have been progressing in an orderly manner. The production workshop worked round the clock to refine various commissioning plans, organizing individual tests of pumps and machinery, purging of steam pipelines, purging of instrument air pipelines, and pipeline airtightness checks, until the granulator was successfully commissioned on the first attempt. Inner Mongolia Jushi Energy Co., Ltd.’s 200,000-ton FTO synthesis project uses coke as a raw material to produce sulfur-free, aromatic-free, nitrogen-free products with a high degree of normality, including mono-hydrocarbons, light white oils, liquid paraffins, FTO waxes, and other high-value-added clean chemicals that meet the demands of the high-end market.
