At 16:15 on April 11, the ethylene glycol plant at Puyang Yongjin began producing qualified ethylene glycol products, 29 hours ahead of the scheduled start time. Currently, the plant is operating smoothly, with all parameters within acceptable ranges; thus, the commissioning was successful on the first try. This project is a key project in Henan Province, and it is a major construction initiative carried out through cooperation between Henan Coal and Chemical Industry Group and Tongliao Jinmei Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. The total investment in the project is 1.078 billion yuan, and it employs a world-first coal-based ethylene glycol production technology.
