Construction Begins on the Whole-Plant Water System Project at Botian Environment’s Qinzhou Chemical Integration Base / Source: China Water Network Date: 2019-07-30 Clicks: 96 On July 26, the whole-life cycle water environment management project supporting the Qinzhou Chemical Integration Base (hereinafter referred to as the “Whole-Plant Water System Project”) officially commenced construction. Botian Environment and Shanghai Huayi are engaging in close cooperation in the field of green chemistry. This project is one of the key initiatives in Qinzhou City’s efforts to pursue sustainable development; it is carried out by Guangxi Tianyi Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Tianyi Environment”), a joint venture established by Botian Environment and Shanghai Huayi. Through green management throughout the entire life cycle, this project aims to bring new impetus for sustainable development to the energy and chemical industry, thereby fully implementing the concept of an ecological industrial model. Wu Jian, president of Botian Environment, said that the company will leverage the experience and technology it has accumulated over more than 20 years to provide full-life-cycle water environment management support for the Qinzhou chemical integration project. By working together with Shanghai Huayi, they aim to create a model project that represents new green standards for the future energy and chemical industry, thereby contributing to the industrial development and sustainable growth of Qinzhou City. This plant-wide water system project will involve the construction of a wastewater treatment plant with a processing capacity of 45,000 m3/day, along with associated facilities. It will provide comprehensive, integrated water system services such as industrial water, recycled water, desalinated water, and wastewater treatment for the Clean Coal Comprehensive Utilization Base project in the Petrochemical Park of Qinzhou Port Economic and Technological Development Zone, ensuring that production wastewater and domestic sewage are discharged in compliance with regulatory standards. Through comprehensive management of the plant’s water system, this facility will benefit from improved monitoring, control, and regulation mechanisms, thereby enhancing the efficiency of water use. It is expected that the reuse rate of water in the production process will exceed 95%, which will significantly reduce the water consumption per unit of product and help customers transform environmental protection costs into a driving force for development. With the mission of \"creating a harmonious environment where humanity and nature coexist,\" Botian Environment has been striving forward.
