Recently, after nearly a month of hard work on the No. 2 flare tower project as part of the completion effort, the tower structure and cylinder have been assembled on the ground and prefabricated, and now the process of lifting and installing these components has begun. It is reported that the height of the torch tower is 143 meters, with a weight of around 304 tons; the cylinder and its attachments weigh approximately 254 tons. The installation process involves working at extremely great heights, which imposes high demands on both the quality of construction and safety measures. To ensure the safe and orderly progress of the lifting and installation work for the tower and cylinder, the Storage and Transportation Center organized relevant technical teams from within the center, as well as personnel from the general contractor and supervision units, to conduct repeated discussions on the lifting and installation plans. Additionally, inspections were carried out on the hydraulic system and automatic control system of the 630-ton crawler crane. To date, 2 sections of the torch tower structure have been lifted, totaling 68 meters, and all four base sections of the cylindrical towers have been installed in place. The hoisting of the tower marks the official entry of Torch No. 2 into the critical installation phase, ensuring the successful completion of the key milestones in this major installation effort. Progress has been made in the current installation campaign: Boiler No. 5 of the thermal power plant was ignited on schedule during its drying process ； The construction of the four-sided walls of the radiation section in the first stage furnace of the methane conversion unit was completed as planned ； Sealing of the compressor building in the air separation plant ； The retention tank of the off-site water supply project is ready for water inflow ； The installation of the water supply pipelines and equipment at the second-level riverbank in the Jinjisha Water Supply Improvement Project, which is part of the off-site water supply system, has been completed. It is understood that in late September, the Construction Command for the filling and completion project organized various center project departments, relevant functional departments, the general contractor, and the supervision unit to launch a major campaign for the installation work related to this project, with the goal of completing the installation of the steel structure by December 31, 2019 ； 80% of the process equipment installation is complete ； 70% of the process pipeline installation is complete ； Cable laying is almost complete. To boost the morale of the combat personnel and ensure the achievement of the campaign objectives, the company provided a total of 6.65 million yuan in target rewards for the campaign. This installation campaign is aimed at fully implementing the group’s and Yuenenghua project’s construction plans. Given the tight schedule and heavy workload associated with this project, as well as the close overlap between construction activities and the production operations of the first phase, as well as the difficulties posed by low temperatures during winter construction, Yuenenghua has organized this installation campaign to mobilize all available resources, focus efforts on key tasks, and ensure that the annual goals for completion of the construction work are met by 2019, as well as that the project is completed on schedule, all while maintaining safety and quality standards. The filling and completion works for the first phase of Shaanxi Yanchang China Coal Yulin Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. project officially commenced on September 8, 2017. With a total investment of around 14.413 billion yuan, this project uses coal and oil field gas as raw materials. Building on the mature technical expertise gained from the first phase of the Yulin Energy Chemical project and making full use of existing infrastructure, it aims to construct facilities for producing 1.8 million tons per year of methanol, 600,000 tons per year of olefins from methanol, 300,000 tons per year of low-density polyethylene/ethylene-vinyl acetate polymers, as well as 300,000 tons per year of polypropylene. Yanjiang China Coal Yulin Energy Chemical Company is an olefin production project involving the integrated conversion of coal, oil, and gas, jointly invested in by Yanjiang Petroleum Group and China Coal Energy Corporation.
