On August 2, the construction of the ethylene glycol unit (Package 6) and the low-temperature methanol washing unit (Package 1) for the Hubei Sanning ammonia synthesis raw material structure adjustment and 600,000 tons per year ethanol production project, which was undertaken by the Second Engineering Division of Sinochem 13th Construction Company, officially started. All temporary facilities such as the office and warehouse at the site project department have been erected, and a solemn flag-raising ceremony was held, marking the official start of construction and production at the site. To date, two units of equipment have been delivered for this project: the DMO degassing tower with a diameter of 4 meters, a height of 28.435 meters, and a weight of 38.7 tons; and the MF separation tower with a diameter of 2.1 meters, a height of 27.085 meters, and a weight of 18.6 tons. The project team has begun organizing the construction workers to install the ladder platforms on the tower.
