This is currently the largest nylon 6 staple fiber project in the world. Its completion and operation have made it possible to turn black coal into high-quality white synthetic fibers, thus pioneering the use of coal-based raw materials for the production of synthetic fibers. It adds a new chapter to the comprehensive reforms related to the energy revolution that are being carried out in our province. Lubao Group is one of the largest coal and coking enterprises in our province. In recent years, they have been committed to making the most of coal coke, continuously advancing its refinement and upgrading, and striving to explore new paths for the transformation of the coal coke industry. Building on the infrastructure developed for projects such as coal-to-methanol production, they partnered with Lianlian Hongpu Company, an enterprise in the synthetic fiber industry that operates at an international premier level. Together, they implemented high-end coal chemical projects involving caprolactam and nylon chips, and established a facility for producing high-quality synthetic fibers using international standards featuring advanced technology and equipment, the shortest construction time, and zero emissions. Currently, they are cooperating on a project to produce 50,000 tons of high-quality industrial fibers. In China, they will be the first to establish an integrated industrial ecosystem that spans coal coking chemistry, nylon short fibers, nylon industrial filaments, and automated warehousing, thereby achieving world-class standards in both technical capabilities and the entire industrial chain. This will give rise to the Lubaoyu model for the refined, intelligent, and high-end transformation of the coal chemical industry.
