Latest Progress on Fuhua Tianchen’s Large-Scale Gasification Project Author/Source: Huahua Network – Coal Chemical Industry Date: 2020-01-15 Clicks: 30 On January 12, with the completion of the ring weld welding work for the upper and lower sections of the CO2 separation tower in Fuhua Tianchen Gas Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Donghua Technology, the on-site assembly and welding of the four large-scale towers in the low-temperature methanol washing unit were also completed. On December 1 of last year, the lower section of the shifted gas scrubber tower was hoisted into place as planned, marking the beginning of the on-site assembly and welding work for the tower equipment in this project. The project team carefully planned and organized the arrival of the welding engineers from the equipment manufacturers, the arrival of large cranes, as well as the staged delivery and installation of the 9 sections of the tower structure according to the schedule. The movement in and out of site, positioning, and rotation of the large lifting equipment provided by the construction subcontractors were all carried out seamlessly. The project team exercised strict monitoring and dynamic intervention throughout the entire implementation process, and ultimately completed the on-site assembly and welding of the large-scale equipment within 43 days. It is reported that the successful on-site assembly and welding of the 4 large tower units, as a critical control point in the progress of the project’s equipment installation work, have created favorable conditions for the full-scale commencement of pipeline installation work after the Spring Festival. The Fuhua Gas Gasification Project team is confident in completing the project construction tasks as planned and delivering the project products to the owner in accordance with the contract requirements. On October 27, 2018, the signing ceremony for the EPC general contract for the purification, synthesis, and related equipment projects of Fujian Fuhua Tianchen Gas Co., Ltd.’s large-scale gasification project (Package 2) was held at Donghua Design Institute. The scope of the project won by Donghua Engineering includes the EPC general contracting for the design, procurement, and construction of purification, synthesis, and related facilities for large-scale gasification projects. Bid price: 745,006,300 yuan (subject to the contract final amount). Project duration: Approximately 26 months (subject to the contract). Fujian Fuhua Tianchen Gas Co., Ltd. is located in the Funeng (Jiangyin) Chemical Park within the Fujing Jiangyin Industrial Cluster in Fuzhou City. It was established as a joint venture among Fujian Petrochemical Group Company, China Tianchen Engineering Co., Ltd., and Fuzhou Yaolong Chemical Group Company, and is engaged in the investment, development, and construction of large-scale coal gasification projects. In addition to the large-scale gasification units, the construction project also includes a large-scale air separation unit that supplies gas products such as nitrogen, oxygen, compressed air, and instrument air to other projects in the park. Construction on the project officially began on September 19, 2018, with completion scheduled for the end of December 2020. Upon completion, it will supply basic chemical raw materials such as hydrogen, carbon monoxide, and liquid ammonia to various enterprises located downstream in the Jiangyin Chemical Park, including Fujian Southeast Electrochemical Co., Ltd. for its new TDI production facility, Fujian Cornell Polyurethane Co., Ltd. for its MDI project, and Fujian Tianchen Yaolong New Materials Co., Ltd. for its new CPL project.
