Successful first commissioning of the 50m3/h evaporation crystallization steam compressor at Datang Fuxin Author/Source: Datang Fuxin Coal-to-Natural Gas Date: 2020-01-19 Clicks: 25 At 8:40 p.m. on January 14, the first commissioning of the 50m3/h evaporation crystallization steam compressor at the Utility Engineering Center was successful. A steam compressor is primarily used to compress unsaturated steam into saturated steam, which is then used for heat exchange with the brine in the MVR reactor in order to further concentrate it, thereby laying the foundation for efficient saltwater separation in the three-effect evaporator. To ensure the smooth progress of the testing, the center’s management provided ongoing supervision and oversight at every stage. Before the testing began, equipment and process engineers from the center, together with the manufacturer, worked together to develop a testing plan. To reduce the time required for transporting the steam compressor oil, the equipment technician organized personnel to clean the oil tank repeatedly, and also opened the gearbox cover to check for any residues, ensuring cleanliness ; During the oil transportation, the equipment crew remained on site 24/7, continuously checking the effectiveness of the filters, and through various measures, completed the oil transportation task in the shortest possible time. Ultimately, the oil temperature, amplitude, flow rate, current, and other parameters of the 50 m3/h evaporation crystallization steam compressor met the design specifications, resulting in a successful first trial run. The success of this trial run indicates that the entire 50 m3/h evaporation crystallization system is now ready for feeding and trial operation.
