On March 12, work resumed on CMOC Ordos Energy Chemical Co., Ltd.’s project aimed at producing 1 million tons of methanol per year from syngas for the year 2020. On March 12, with the successful installation of the preheaters for the wash water in the cooling units and the ammonia washing separation tower as part of the gasification and purification phase, Enechem’s methanol project completed the installation of two large-scale equipment units with a capacity of 100 tons each within just one day. This marked the official start of the resumption of work on Enechem’s 1 million-ton methanol project for the year 2020. At present, the epidemic prevention and control measures as well as the resumption of work for Enerchem’s methanol project are being carried out in an orderly manner. The project construction command center held a mobilization meeting to urge various project teams to communicate actively with ** and the EPC contractors, so as to arrange for workers to return to work in batches, phases, and on a project-by-project basis.
