Lab Introduction: The Complex Systems and Control Laboratory at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU CSC-LAB, www.csc-lab.com) focuses on the research of modeling and control methods for complex systems, and is committed to promoting the practical application of advanced control algorithms in fields such as the process industry. Led by Professor Li Dewei, the head of key research and development programs and major funding projects, the laboratory benefits from first-class research facilities and a multidisciplinary research platform, and has achieved significant research results. It is in charge of numerous **important research projects and has won multiple **awards as well as provincial and ministerial-level awards. Job Opening: Due to the needs of research and development, 1–2 postdoctoral researchers are being recruited. The research areas include, but are not limited to, the following: Research Areas – Process Optimization and Control: Modeling, optimization, and advanced control of complex process manufacturing. Qualifications – Educational Background: A PhD in the field of chemical engineering or process control engineering, or one who is about to obtain a PhD (the PhD must be obtained before starting work). – Research Ability: Strong independent research capabilities, with high-quality academic publications in related fields, as well as a solid research foundation and project experience. – Work Attitude: Good teamwork skills and an innovative mindset, along with a strong interest in research work. Job Responsibilities – Participate in the research projects carried out by the laboratory. Write and publish high-quality academic papers, and actively participate in fund applications (such as postdoctoral funds and youth funds). -Assist in mentoring graduate students and participate in the daily scientific research management of the laboratory. Salary and benefits – Annual salary of 250,000–400,000 yuan (including base salary and research performance bonuses, determined based on individual abilities and contributions). -In accordance with the policies of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, social insurance, housing provident fund, and other benefits are provided for postdoctoral researchers. -Application is supported for various ** and local research funds, including the Boxin Program and Shanghai Super Postdoctoral Program.
