In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Regulations on Environmental Protection Management for Construction Projects, and the Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment (Order No. 4 issued by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment), a public consultation process is being carried out regarding the environmental impact assessment of Henan Xinxing Chemical Materials Co., Ltd.’s downstream processing project of methanol. This is the first round of public announcements; interested parties are welcome to participate actively. I. Overview of the Construction Project Project Name: Methanol Downstream Deep Processing Project of Henan Xinxing Chemical Materials Co., Ltd. Project Owner: Henan Xinxing Chemical Materials Co., Ltd. Location of the Project: East section of Qinglong Road, Langgongmiao Town, Xinxiang County, Xinxiang City Nature of the Project: New construction Project Summary: The Methanol Downstream Deep Processing Project of Henan Xinxing Chemical Materials Co., Ltd. is located on the east section of Qinglong Road in the Xinxiang Economic and Technological Industrial Cluster. The total investment in this project is 200 million yuan. It falls under the category of construction projects permitted according to the \"Guidance Catalogue for Industrial Structure Adjustment\" (2019 edition). The project has been registered with the Management Committee of Henan Xinxiang Economic and Technical Agglomeration Zone, and its project code is 2019-410721-26-03-068149. Construction scale and content: The construction scale is to produce 200,000 tons of formaldehyde, 50,000 tons of amino resins, and 40,000 tons of formamide-based products per year. The project is constructed in two phases; the first phase involves building facilities for producing 200,000 tons of formaldehyde and 10,000 tons of amino resins. Phase 2: 40,000 tons of amino resins and 40,000 tons of formamide-based products. The project uses the iron-molybdenum method for producing high-concentration formaldehyde ； Ammonia resin is synthesized through methylation and etherification using formaldehyde ； Formamide-based products are produced using the ammoniation process. The main facilities to be built include those for formaldehyde synthesis, amino resin synthesis, formamide-based product synthesis, and circulating water systems; other utility systems will be provided by Henan Xinlianxin Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd.
