The main structure of the research building has been completed. About 70% of the civil work in the plant area has been completed. The construction of the eight new districts has commenced in full. The shipment rate for equipment on the boiler island and coal transfer island is around 40%. The construction of the coal unloading channel, which is 20 meters deep, has now reached a depth of -8 meters; the volume of soil filled in exceeds 100,000 cubic meters. By the end of the year, the depth of this channel will be zero, and the steel structure above the coal unloading shed will be fully completed. By the end of this year, more than 85% of the civil engineering work should be completed, with the installation work accounting for around 20% of the total. ” By 2019, 85% of the main construction work for the project aimed at producing 1 million tons of ethylene glycol per year was completed, over 25% of the installation work was finished, all auxiliary works were completed, and the total investment reached 8 billion yuan. To date, 14 large-scale construction companies and 4 supervision firms have been contracted; the peak number of construction workers will exceed 10,000, with over 400 pieces of construction equipment.
