The team in charge of the Hualu Yulin Polydimethylmethoxyether (DMMn) Project adhered strictly to the relevant prevention and control requirements set by the company and the project owner, coordinated various resources actively, and carried out the resumption of work on the project in an orderly manner. On the morning of November 8, 2019, the kick-off meeting for the project to produce 500,000 tons per year of polymethoxymethane (abbreviated as DMMn), which is under the EPCC general contracting of Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., was held at Yanzhou Coal Industry Yulin Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. Leaders from Yanzhou Coal Industry Yulin Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. and Hualu Technology Company, as well as heads of relevant departments, attended the launch meeting. As an ideal diesel blending agent and a new type of environmentally friendly solvent, DMMn plays an important role in addressing China’s current issues such as high dependence on crude oil imports and severe air pollution. To date, there are no existing examples of DMMn production facilities in operation in China. The 100,000-ton-per-year DMMn plant, which is under the general contracting of Hualu Company, is currently the largest single-unit coal-to-methanol-based DMMn plant in China. The design and development of this facility represent Hualu Company’s proactive efforts to explore high-value-added products derived from methanol; it will also contribute to the expansion of the methanol industry chain as well as to the transformation and upgrading of the product structure. At 9 a.m. on March 16, firecrackers were set off at the construction site of the Anhui CarbonXin Coke Oven Gas Comprehensive Utilization Project, which is under the general contracting of Donghua Technology, marking the official start of construction of the project’s comprehensive pipeline system. It is reported that the comprehensive piping system for this project includes a water supply system, a drainage system, a foam fire suppression piping system, and a heating and hot water piping system; there are as many as twelve different types of pipes, which are distributed throughout all areas of the plant.
