On the morning of March 20, Weihua Company and Baoji Huahai Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony in Xi’an regarding the transportation agreement for 300,000 tons of ethylene glycol produced by Weihua’s Binzhou facility. The meeting was chaired by Wang Xiaosong, General Manager of Huahai Company. Zhao Shiquan, Deputy Chief Engineer of Weihua Company, Duan Jinyuan, Head of the Legal and Audit Department, Wang Zhongwei, Deputy Head of the Planning and Finance Department, as well as relevant staff from the Marketing and Sales Department attended the event. The holding of the signing ceremony clearly demonstrates the two companies’ positive attitude toward resuming production, as well as their concrete efforts to ensure the normal operation of the Binzhou company. At present, the ethylene glycol project of Binzhou Company under Weihua Group is under active construction, and it is expected to be completed and put into operation in October this year. Weihua Company took proactive measures; while accelerating the construction of its projects, it planned in advance for the sales of ethylene glycol products. It held numerous discussions with Baoji Huahai Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. regarding the transportation of these products, to ensure a safe and reliable door-to-door logistics service that combined road and rail transport. To ensure the transportation of 300,000 tons of ethylene glycol, Huahai Company established a specialized department for this purpose. It rented a 2,250-square-meter container yard at Binzhou West Station, and received approval from Shaanxi Coal Group for the procurement of containers. Weihua Group and Huahai Company are both key enterprises under Shaanxi Coal Group. The two companies have long collaborated in areas such as coal and methanol transportation, forging a strong friendship over time. Through this renewed cooperation in the transportation of ethylene glycol products, the two parties working together will make a positive contribution to the export transportation of the products produced by the Weihua Binzhou Company’s project once it goes into operation.
