Contract signed for Jutai Energy’s zero-discharge project for high-concentration brine in Inner Mongolia Author/Source: Huahua Network – Coal Chemicals Date: 2020-04-03 Clicks: 19 Recently, Jutai Energy Inner Mongolia Co., Ltd. signed a contract with Weili Environmental Protection Technology Group Co., Ltd. regarding the supply of membrane skid-mounted equipment and reverse osmosis membranes for Jutai Energy’s zero-discharge project for high-concentration brine; the value of this contract is 53.7741 million yuan. According to the terms of the contract, Weili Environmental Protection shall deliver all the relevant equipment to JiuTai Energy Inner Mongolia Co., Ltd. within 120 calendar days after the contract comes into effect. The high-concentration brine zero-discharge project of Jutai Energy Inner Mongolia Co., Ltd. has a total investment of 330 million yuan. It employs a process that includes pretreatment, pre-salting separation, membrane concentration, and quality-separated crystallization, with a treatment capacity of 200 m3/h. The project includes zero-discharge equipment as well as related supporting systems; the entire process is expected to be operational by the end of 2020. The final outputs of this system are recycled water and crystallized salts. On March 18, 2020, the high-concentration brine zero-discharge project of Jutai Energy Inner Mongolia Co., Ltd. commenced construction at the Dalunan Coal Chemical Industry Base in Zhungeer Banner, Ordos City. Duan Yongsheng, deputy general manager of Jiutai Company, announced the official commencement of the project. Wang Jingzhan, executive manager of Shaanxi Huajian Engineering Co., Ltd., which is the general contractor for the construction, Xu Xiongbin, project manager of Shenzhen Energy Resources Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd., the same company that acts as the general contractor, and Liu Hongcai, chief supervision engineer at Shandong Haohua Engineering Management Co., Ltd., attended the commencement ceremony. The project is located within the Jutai plant area of the South Coal Chemical Industry Base in Zhungeer Banner, Ordos City. It involves the construction of a new zero-emission facility with a capacity of 200 m3/h, along with supporting equipment ; The zero-emission process employs a technology consisting of pretreatment + pre-salt separation + membrane concentration + selective crystallization; the final products of this system are recycled water and crystallized salts. Upon completion, the project will handle 1.6 million m3/year of high-concentration brine.
