Several major projects were signed within a week. Following the successful establishment on July 5 of a high-end comprehensive utilization project capable of producing 5 million tons of coke per year along with associated gas, on July 11, the Jiexiu Economic and Technological Development Zone reached agreements with Jiexiu Changsheng Gasification Co., Ltd. and Jiexiu Jineng Transportation Co., Ltd. for projects that will enable the production of 1.8 million tons of coke, 200,000 tons of methanol, as well as related facilities and modern logistics services. The total investment in these three projects amounts to 13.72 billion yuan. Since the beginning of this year, the Jiexiu Economic and Technological Development Zone has, in line with the requirements set by the Jiexiu Municipal Party Committee and the municipal authorities to \"strengthen the industrial economy as a key driver and revitalize the strength of the private sector,\" focused on its seven core industries and actively pursued investment attraction, achieving significant results with multiple projects being signed for development in the zone. At the same time, the Jiexiu Economic and Technological Development Zone creates a favorable business environment for enterprises by delivering services at the fastest speed and with the highest efficiency, as well as ensuring the best quality and upholding the greatest level of honesty and integrity. And with the greatest commitment and the most effective measures, it will spare no effort to support the construction of the project, so as to enable it to reach full capacity and operational efficiency as soon as possible. It is understood that the high-end comprehensive utilization project with an annual production capacity of 5 million tons of coke and associated gas was invested in and built by Shanxi Coke Group. It is a project jointly developed through cooperation between state-owned and private enterprises, serving as a model that encourages private enterprises to participate in the reform of state-owned enterprises and facilitate their transformation. The total investment for the project is 8 billion yuan, with a planned land area of 2,000 mu. Upon completion of the entire project, it is expected to generate annual sales revenue of 12 billion yuan and create profits and taxes of over 1.5 billion yuan. It will also provide numerous job opportunities for the local villagers, improve the efficiency of coal resource utilization, enable the maximum extraction of clean energy, and thus achieve both social and economic benefits. The annual production capacity of 1.8 million tons of coke and 200,000 tons of methanol at Jiexiu Changsheng Gasification Co., Ltd., along with the associated facilities, is part of Changsheng Company’s transformation and upgrading strategy aimed at replacing smaller-scale operations with larger ones. The total investment for the project is 5.3 billion yuan, with the first phase requiring an investment of 3.15 billion yuan. The construction period spans from 2019 to 2021, during which a coking production line with a capacity of 900,000 tons as well as chemical recovery facilities will be built, along with facilities for producing 200,000 tons of methanol and processing 3 million tons of coal. The total investment for the second phase is 2.15 billion yuan; implementation will begin in 2021, with focus on building a coking production line with an output of 900,000 tons, hydrogen production facilities, and dedicated railway lines. Once the project is fully completed and put into operation, it will be able to generate annual sales revenue of 4.8 billion yuan and profits and taxes of 430 million yuan, while creating 1,800 job opportunities. Jiexiu Jineng Transportation Co., Ltd. is located within the Jiexiu Economic and Technological Development Zone along National Highway 108. The total planned area is over 630 mu. The company is committed to building the largest, best-equipped, most functional, and highest-quality smart logistics park in the country. The first phase of the project, which involved an investment of 170 million yuan to develop a modern logistics service complex consisting of “one zone and nine centers,” has now been fully put into use. The second phase will involve an investment of 250 million yuan to further advance innovative practices in the field of “5G + intelligent logistics supply chains,” with the goal of creating a nationally leading 5G smart logistics park, as well as an intelligent logistics ecosystem and related applications.
