On April 3, the coal-oil co-gasification system of Unit C at Shaanxi Yanchang Zhongmei Yuenenghua Company was started up; the initial feeding was successful and the system began operating. Recently, affected by various factors such as the sharp drop in crude oil prices and the ongoing spread of the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide, the energy and chemical industry has suffered severe blows in the market. In the face of tough circumstances, the company has introduced specific measures to further increase revenue and cut costs, aiming to win the battle to reduce expenses and boost efficiency. The person in charge of the Yulin Chemical Methanol Center explained that, as one of the key projects aimed at increasing revenue and reducing costs for the company, once the coal-oil co-gasification system is operational, it will be able to consume around 200 tons of DCC-polymerized heavy oil per day. This not only helps to reduce the consumption of raw coal but also increases the added value of this polymerized heavy oil. From the perspective of cost reduction and efficiency improvement, it represents a win-win situation. Technicians from the gasification unit at Yulin Energy Chemicals said that, in light of the current situation, it is necessary to take proactive responsibility and take active actions, focusing on ensuring the stable operation of the coal-oil co-gasification system. The rich experience accumulated during the device’s previous continuous operation will be put to good use to further optimize the process operations, ensuring stable and efficient system performance.
