Project status: The project with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons of methanol has been completed and put into operation. The project with an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons of olefins started construction in March 2013, with completion and operation planned for the second half of 2015. So, how is it performing so far?
It was not built, and it was not put into operation. At the current stage, progress is on hold pending Yankuang’s capital injection to initiate subsequent construction.
It’s likely not built yet; they were hiring a large number of people at the beginning of the year, but I haven’t heard anything about it since then. It’s likely that construction has been postponed
