The JM-S furnace demonstration project of Jinneng Holding Equipment Manufacturing Group was successfully commissioned in just one attempt. The project achieved the impressive result of being completed in 7 months, with commissioning and operation starting 52 days ahead of schedule. This represents another significant breakthrough in the \"three furnaces operating simultaneously\" strategy, following the successful trial operation of the \"JM-H furnace\". It provides a new technical model that can serve as a reference for the transformation and upgrading of the traditional coal chemical industry, offering a new approach for the clean and efficient utilization of smokeless lump coal across the province and even the whole country. Technicians from Tianqing Company told reporters that the \"JM-S furnace\" represents an \"upgraded version\" of the coal crushing pressurized gasification technology. By taking into account the unique properties of anthracite coal in the Jincheng area, and through comprehensive optimization and systematic upgrades of both the furnace structure and the production process, this furnace addresses various issues associated with coal crushing pressurized gasification technology, such as low efficiency in producing hot gas, low steam utilization rates, uneven distribution of gasification temperature, severe wear on the furnace grates, and short service life of the valves used for controlling ash flow. As a result, it forms a complete set of specialized equipment and gasification technology processes suitable for use with anthracite coal of poor quality, not only in Jincheng but also across the country. Jineng Holding Equipment Manufacturing Group has always adhered to the principle that \"relying on technological innovation to pursue high-quality development is the ultimate key.\" It actively promotes the transformation of the traditional coal chemical industry toward a more advanced, differentiated, market-oriented, and environmentally friendly direction. By implementing the \"three furnaces in parallel\" strategy, it leverages technological innovation to improve product performance, expand market access, enhance efficiency, and generate greater benefits. To date, based on operational performance, the processing capacity of each “JM-S furnace” has increased by 22%; the effective components of the gas (CO+H2) have risen by 4.8%, the steam decomposition rate has increased to 60%, the amount of medium-pressure steam required for gasification has been reduced by 30%, the coal consumption per thousand cubic meters of gas produced has decreased by 2%, and oxygen consumption has dropped by 20%. It offers various advantages such as low renovation costs, reduced coal usage, high gas production, and low operational and maintenance expenses. When operating at full capacity, the cost of producing synthetic ammonia can be reduced by about 200 yuan per ton, while the annual production costs can be cut by 30 million yuan per furnace.
