Since the project commenced on August 4, the Preparation Office for the Phase II Olefins Project of the Command Center for the Coal-to-Oil Chemical Plant Construction of **Energy Group Ningxia Coal Industry Company has been actively carrying out tasks such as project design, procurement, civil engineering work, pipeline installation, and other related activities. To date, the foundations for 52 pieces of equipment on the surface have been completed. On September 13, the lifting of the tower skirt began, marking the full start of the equipment installation work. This laid favorable conditions for the subsequent installation of process pipelines and provided a solid foundation for the project’s handover. On the morning of August 4, the project for the development of key technologies for the production of α-olefins from Fischer-Tropsch oil products, as well as a pilot-scale demonstration project, which was undertaken by the Ningxia Coal Industry Coal-to-Oil Chemical Engineering Construction Command, officially commenced after thorough preparatory work. Project Overview: The Development of Key Technologies for the Production of α-Olefins from FTO Oil and Pilot-Scale Demonstration Project (referred to as the “Olefin Crude Separation Pilot Project”) is a pilot project under **Energy Group’s ‘2030 Major Projects’. It involves pilot-scale verification based on the laboratory technologies developed independently for the separation of FTO oil, as well as for acid and oxygen removal. The project is located within the coal-to-oil facility of the Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base, covering an area of 700 square meters. The project uses oil-washed naphtha from coal-to-oil projects as raw material, with a feed rate of 1 t/h. Through acid and oxygen removal as well as distillation separation, C6 and C8 alkenes are ultimately obtained as products.
