The preliminary design for the smart factory of the 1.8 million tons per year ethylene glycol production facility, as part of the first phase of Yulin Chemical’s project for the differentiated utilization of coal to produce new chemical materials, has successfully passed the review. This review meeting was chaired by Shaanxi Coal Group. Kang Lu’an, General Manager of the Infrastructure Department of Shaanxi Coal Group, Yang Zhongxu, Deputy General Manager, along with relevant leaders from the Enterprise Management Department, Chemical Industry Division, Strategic Planning Committee, and Financial Assets Department, as well as Du Sanmin and Zheng Baoxiang, Deputy General Managers of Yulin Chemical, and the project manager from China Global Engineering Co., Ltd., attended the meeting. The conference also invited 5 experts in the field of intelligence to attend. At the meeting, China Global Engineering Co., Ltd. presented the preliminary design plan for the smart factory of the 1.8 million tons per year ethylene glycol project in Yulin Chemical’s Phase I. Subsequently, the expert group held in-depth exchanges and discussions, and unanimously agreed that the project construction contents, technical approaches, implementation plans, etc., proposed in this preliminary design were scientifically sound and feasible, and approved its approval. At the same time, the expert group also put forward suggestions for optimization and improvement. Subsequently, Zheng Baoxiang delivered a statement in which he said that Yulin Chemical is confident and determined to build a world-class intelligent platform, thereby optimizing the company’s organizational structure and streamlining its workforce, and so improving the efficiency of its production and operations. Next, Yulin Chemical will, under the proper guidance of Shaanxi Coal Group, take into account the opinions and suggestions of the experts from this review meeting, and swiftly refine the design plan. It will accelerate the implementation of the smart factory project, aiming to create a model facility that is safe, clean, efficient, and intelligent. By building a world-class smart factory, the company will achieve production automation, optimized control, interconnected information systems, visible monitoring, and structured business processes, thereby helping Yulin Chemical become a world-leading chemical industry company.
