On the morning of May 18, at the Lunan Coal-Based New Materials R&D Center, Chen Jian, Party Secretary and General Manager of the Southwest Research Institute, and Meng Xiangjun, Chief Engineer of Yankuang Group, jointly unveiled the plaques for the “Key Laboratory of Southwest Chemical Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd.” and the “Lunan R&D Facility of Southwest Chemical Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd.” This marks another significant step forward in the industrialization and commercialization of a key process technology within the coal chemical industry chain by the Southwest Research Institute; it also plays an important role in boosting the momentum of Yankuang Chemical’s transformation efforts, as well as enhancing its industrial competitiveness and development potential. Subsequently, Chen Jian, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Southwest Branch, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Liu Qiang, Deputy General Manager of Yankuang Chemical Company, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Lunan Chemical. Long Chongjun, the executive deputy general manager of the Southwest Branch, and Zhang Ling, the deputy secretary of the Party committee and general manager of Lunan Chemical, signed a pilot-scale production contract for acrylic acid.
