On August 11, the carbon-supported cobalt-based slurry-bed syngas-to-oil industrial demonstration unit successfully passed the performance calibration conducted by an expert panel from the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. After 72 hours of data collection, the calibration results showed that the on-site device was operating smoothly, with all parameters meeting or exceeding the design specifications. It marks a new level for the carbon-supported cobalt-based slurry-bed syngas-to-oil production line in terms of continuous production control, technical upgrades, installation and commissioning, as well as process services. The device was calibrated for performance from August 8 to 10; calibration was completed at 9 a.m. on August 11, marking the end of the calibration process. During this calibration period, the Coal Chemical Company earnestly fulfilled the goals and targets for achieving full production capacity as well as the relevant performance requirements; its production operations were stable, and all indicators were operating within normal ranges. It is reported that the construction of this project began in 2013, and by the end of September 2015 it was completed and put into operation; the entire production process was operational, allowing for the successful production of products such as LPG, stable light hydrocarbons, FTO light waxes, and FTO heavy waxes. The calibration of this device was successful, providing important technical support for the advancement of China National Petroleum Corporation’s 2 million tons per year oil-alcohol co-production project. It fulfilled the historical mission of transforming the company’s experimental facilities into production units, offering a solid foundation for the launch of new projects by the group company and laying a strong basis for the company’s high-quality development.
