On August 19, the Coal Chemicals Management Department of China Coal Jinzhong Energy Company invited experts from the coking industry to evaluate the technical aspects of the bidding documents for the preliminary design of the 2 million tons per year coking technology upgrade project at China Coal Jiu Xin Coking Co., Ltd. The expert group and the attending representatives listened to the relevant presentations and conducted a thorough and careful review. The expert group generally agreed to the technical requirements specified in the technical section of the tender documents for the preliminary design of China Coal Jiu Xin’s 2 million tons per year coking technology renovation project. And it puts forward clear requirements for using electrochemical treatment to desalt the circulating water system ； Clarify whether positive or negative pressure should be used for the gas collection pipe pressure ； Clarify the quality requirements for compressed air and nitrogen used in instruments ； Clarify the requirements for the amount of dilute acid in the acid production system associated with HPF desulfurization ； Thirteen specific suggestions were put forward, including those regarding energy consumption in the coking process, and constructive recommendations were given for carrying out the preliminary design of the project in the next steps. The construction site for the 2 million tons per year coking technology upgrade project of Lingshi County Zhongmei Jiu Xin Coking Co., Ltd. is located in the Zhongmei Circular Economy Park in Lingshi County. The construction work involves demolishing the existing 4×72-chamber, 4.3-meter-high coking ovens, and building a new 2×68-chamber JNDX3-6.78-13 type single-heating type ramming coking oven system, along with associated dry quenching facilities (with a new wet quenching system as a backup) and a power generation system (including an 110KV substation). There will also be partial renovations to the coal preparation system, the coke processing system, and the gasification system (including renovations to the circulating cooling towers). New production facilities such as a system for producing acid from desulfurization waste liquid and a system for advanced wastewater treatment will be installed, along with various auxiliary public facilities necessary for this upgrade. The gas produced will be used for the 18.30 project of Zhongmei Chemical Industry Company.
