In line with the overall plan for the methanol Phase II project, the turbine unit of Enehua’s air separation unit with a capacity of 75,000 Nm3/h has been fully installed. The unit was cleaned using steam, and the necessary checks and adjustments were carried out; after debugging, it is now ready for no-load trial operation. At 8:00 on August 24, the second phase of the air separation plant officially entered the commissioning stage, with the company’s general manager, Zhang Baotai, attending the site to oversee the process. With the coordinated efforts of personnel at all levels and various departments within the center, all preparatory work, system verification tasks, and commissioning activities such as the activation of the oil system, heating of the pipes with high-pressure steam, and establishment of the vacuum system were carried out in an orderly manner. At 14:43 in the afternoon, the turbine was ready for startup; the control room operator pressed the start button, and the turbine began to spin up. The readings were “1400 rpm, 4579 rpm, 4602 rpm”, and all parameters of the turbine indicated normal operation ； At 14:50, the overspeed test was continued at “4740 rpm”; the turbine shut down perfectly, and the single test of the turbine was completed successfully on the first attempt. The successful single-test of the turbine this time has set a good start for subsequent joint tests and commissioning trials, laying a solid foundation for the smooth operation of the project.
