From September 10th to 11th, a special seminar on the plant-wide system and process plans for the project aimed at the clean and efficient conversion of coal in different grades at a rate of 15 million tons per year, including the production of olefins, aromatics, and other products, was held in Yulin by Shaanxi Coal Group Yulin Chemical Company (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”). The conference invited ten senior industry experts to discuss the relevant topics. Wang Huimin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the company, Du Sanmin, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, Vice General Managers Wang Weifeng and Zheng Baoxiang, Chief Engineer Liu Wansheng, as well as representatives from design institutes and environmental assessment and safety evaluation agencies such as China Chengda Engineering Co., Ltd., Donghua Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., Sinopec Luoyang Engineering Co., Ltd., and Sinopec Engineering Construction Co., Ltd., attended the meeting. During the meeting, various design institutes presented their technical proposals regarding the plant’s overall process flow, coal chemical units, MTO and coal pyrolysis-related facilities, as well as olefins, aromatics and related downstream units. Subsequently, the experts present conducted in-depth discussions on the plant’s product portfolio, system configuration, the technical specifications of each unit, and their scale, offering valuable suggestions and recommendations. Upon the completion of the discussion, the company stated that it would carefully consider the experts’ suggestions and opinions, clarify the overall design approach, finalize the product manufacturing processes and system configurations for the entire plant, establish relevant task forces, and carry out thorough technical evaluations for the first and second phases of Phase 1 as well as the first and second phases of Phase 2, in order to lay a solid foundation for the efficient progress of the overall design. At the same time, various design institutes have stated that they will fully cooperate with the client to accelerate the work process, take expert opinions into account to swiftly advance the overall design, and ensure that the overall design for the advanced processing of coal is completed on time and to a high standard.
