On January 9th, System No. 3 of the ethylene glycol wastewater treatment plant was fed with sludge continuously for 12 hours, marking the official start of the sludge acclimatization phase. This indicates that the plant now has the basic capability to handle wastewater, and it also lays an environmental foundation for the upcoming full-scale trial production. It is understood that this set of equipment includes a circulating water backwash wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 200 m3/h, a demineralized water backwash wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 300 m3/h, a comprehensive wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 450 m3/h, and an odor treatment system with a capacity of 10,000 Nm3/h. By the end of December, the conditions for sludge acclimatization would be basically met. Sludge acclimatization in the integrated wastewater treatment system is a crucial step for its official operation, as it directly affects whether the wastewater can be discharged up to the required standards. At present, the circulating water backwash wastewater treatment system, the demineralized water backwash wastewater treatment system, and the odor treatment system have all completed their water integration tests. It is expected that the commissioning of one set of systems will be completed before the end of the year; thereafter, the other two sets of systems will be commissioned based on the drainage conditions from the previous stages.
