The technical renovation project for the coal chemical purification unit at Jinling Petrochemical was successfully commissioned. On April 6, the project was brought online successfully on the first attempt. This project is another significant effort by Jinling Petrochemical to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of its industry by focusing on high-end development, intelligence, and sustainability. This project is a key initiative for Jinling Petrochemical Company in thoroughly implementing its green development strategy and continuously advancing its action plan for becoming a green enterprise. It helps to reduce energy consumption in the production facilities, improve their operational stability, decrease catalyst usage and operating costs. While delivering significant environmental benefits, it also substantially lowers the cost of hydrogen production. The technical renovation project for coal chemical purification units is one of the key projects at Jinling Petrochemical, and it represents an important task in the company’s efforts to implement its green development strategy and to advance its plan for becoming a green enterprise on a sustainable and high-quality basis. After more than a year of hard work, on January 12 this year, the project was completed ahead of schedule by CCCC. Currently, Jinling Petrochemical operates over 70 production units for refining, aromatics, and thermal power generation. It also has 5 joint ventures such as Jinling Huntsman and Jiangsu Jintong. The company produces more than 50 types of petroleum products, and it is one of the main suppliers of refined oil products, liquid hydrocarbons, and petroleum benzene in the East China region and along the river areas.
