Cao Jianping, General Manager of the group company, had in-depth discussions with Wang Zhiqing, a doctor from the Shanxi Coal Chemistry Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and head of the research team; relevant departments of the group company as well as staff from the Shanxi Coal Chemistry Institute attended the meeting. Cao Jianping pointed out that advanced utilization technologies for gasification slag are of great significance for the development of enterprises’ coal chemical industries, and they represent practical ways for such enterprises to meet carbon reduction and carbon neutrality goals. It is hoped that both sides will further strengthen communication and coordination, and focus on the characteristics of the liquid slag produced by smokeless coal gasification in the Jincheng area to develop industrial applications for the high-value utilization of this liquid slag. Through thorough evaluation and continuous improvement, an implementable technical solution can be designed ； It is necessary to integrate this with the process flow of the JM-H furnace, taking full account of the overall coordination among projects aimed at making optimal use of slag. The results of these experiments should be translated into product designs, so that liquid slag can be used directly as a raw material for producing goods, thereby facilitating the company’s transition toward higher-quality development. Wang Zhiqing outlined the technical plan for the high-value utilization of gasification slag, stating that it would be further refined in line with the development needs of Jinneng Holding Equipment Manufacturing Group. Moreover, efforts would be made to transform research outcomes based on market conditions, with the goal of developing products with high added value to support the company’s growth and improve its profitability. At the meeting, the participants had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the plan.
