In recent years, Xinjiang Yihua has followed the guidance of national policies and industry trends, adhering to a philosophy of innovative development and implementing a strategy driven by innovation. By investing in scientific and technological advancements and promoting cooperation between industry, academia, and research institutions, the company has accelerated its pace of technological innovation, thereby supporting the high-quality development of its business. Through scientific organization and careful planning, in order to further extend the operational cycle of the equipment and address issues such as difficulties, long repair times, and various potential hazards resulting from leaks in the preheater of the gasification furnace, the company’s leadership took the lead by going straight to the site. They studied the structure and functioning of the equipment based on the design drawings, and taking into account actual production conditions, they identified all the key equipment and critical parameters that could affect the stability of the equipment and its productivity. By continuously summarizing experience and identifying the root causes of problems, and by examining various aspects such as equipment structure, working principles, and process flows, through repeated discussions and adjustments, an optimized solution for the equipment is determined, along with clear guidelines for process adjustments. This enables precise planning for technical upgrades, ensuring that all tasks are carried out in a coordinated and orderly manner. By taking targeted measures and overcoming difficulties, during the upgrade and renovation of the equipment, all staff members managed to surmount various challenges such as the difficulty of lifting the equipment, the impact of the pandemic on the delivery of equipment to the site, a shortage of construction workers, and safety concerns associated with work in winter. By ensuring normal production, they managed to complete the renovation of 3 gasification units in just two months. The original design, which included an air preheater, was replaced with a low-pressure boiler and a steam superheater, thereby reducing the safety risks associated with air preheater leaks. By eliminating the low-pressure waste heat boiler installed in the air preheater, the steam generated by the waste heat boiler enables self-sufficiency in steam for the gasification furnace, thereby reducing the consumption of external steam supply. A gas distributor is added to the main gasifier pipe in front of the furnace to achieve more uniform gas mixing. After the modification, the quality of the gas improved significantly, and the production and consumption metrics reached their best levels ever. Talent support for innovative development: The company’s Party committee has always regarded talent development as the top priority for the enterprise’s growth, encouraging future leaders to actively participate in efforts to improve efficiency, implement minor improvements, and pursue technological innovation, thereby continuously enhancing their professional skills through practical experience. As a result of this technical improvement, 10 trained personnel from the gasification workshop took on roles such as project leaders, safety officers, and supervisors, leveraging their expertise to put forward practical suggestions. This led to an increase in the automatic control rate of the gasification furnace to over 95%, resulting in a significant reduction in the workload for the staff and a notable improvement in work efficiency. Xinjiang Yihua will continue to leverage the advantages of its coal chemical industry, focus on energy conservation and carbon reduction, and adhere to innovation-driven development. With higher standards, greater efforts, and more concrete measures, it will push the company’s technological innovation efforts to a new level and achieve new results.
