To date, the dust removal upgrades for all 5 boilers in the company have been completed, achieving phased results in the environmental improvement efforts. Starting in June 2019, the company took advantage of appropriate maintenance periods to carry out dust removal upgrades on the remaining four boilers; the upgrade project for Boiler No. 4 officially began on July 15 of this year. They conduct daily safety briefings before starting work to improve the ability to identify construction safety risks ; Overcoming the challenges of heavy workload and tight deadlines, construction procedures are arranged in a logical manner, and by working overtime every night, the construction period is continuously shortened ; The company’s management visits the site every night to check that work is being carried out safely ; Strengthen supervision throughout the entire process, address any issues identified immediately, and advance the renovation tasks efficiently ; In conjunction with the supervision unit, inspections were carried out on multiple occasions regarding the travel codes and health codes of the workers on site; the construction area was disinfected regularly, and incoming materials were sterilized before being allowed into the facility, all to ensure proper control at every stage of epidemic prevention and control. It took a total of 25 days to complete various tasks, including the replacement and welding of 224 blast pipe assemblies, the welding of 64 covers and supports, the replacement of 16 sets of inlet and outlet cylinders for the clean air chambers, the replacement and installation of 4,816 filter bags and 9,632 bag cages, as well as the replacement of the insulation material on the housing. All construction tasks were successfully completed on August 8th. The project to upgrade boiler flue gas treatment systems for ultra-low emissions is the third major environmental protection project completed by the thermal power company this year. After the upgrade, the dust emissions from boiler exhaust gases are reduced to less than 10 milligrams per standard cubic meter, fully meeting the **latest regulations and demonstrating the environmental responsibilities of state-owned enterprises.
