It is reported that for this maintenance work, the company established a dedicated maintenance leadership team to strengthen supervision and guidance over the maintenance activities. Managers with high technical skills, extensive experience, and a strong sense of responsibility were appointed as leaders of various maintenance teams. Maintenance meetings were held on a daily basis to plan the work tasks, thereby laying a solid foundation for the successful completion of the maintenance work. In addition to the regular maintenance and repair of pumps, instruments, and electrical equipment in various workshops, this maintenance task also includes several larger projects that require external contractors. These include the decarburization renovation of the purification workshop, the replacement of components on the combined platform, the anti-corrosion treatment for the supports of various towers, the replacement of waste heat exchangers in the synthesis workshop, and the renovation of System 2 to address its failure issues. During the maintenance period, all relevant units cooperated actively, enhancing coordination, supervision, and guidance, which created favorable conditions for the successful completion of this maintenance task. It is reported that the environmental protection comprehensive improvement project for Xi Fengtian Company’s No. 2 gasification system was carried out as an upgrade in response to the \"2019 Action Plan for Winning the Battle to Protect the Blue Skies in Shanxi Province\" and other relevant local regulations. It upgrades the gasification process while maintaining the original scale and production capacity; the existing 10 φ2650 intermittent gas generation furnaces are replaced with 5 φ3600 pure-oxygen continuous gasification furnaces, along with a 16,000 Nm3/h cryogenic air separation unit. The subsequent purification, compression, synthesis units, auxiliary production facilities, and utility systems are adapted using the existing infrastructure. The production capacity remains unchanged after the upgrade, offering the company effective ways to reduce production costs, improve environmental management, and optimize its industrial structure.
