The Ningxia Qinghua project team of Saiding Company is responsible for the EPC general contracting of the 150,000 tons/year Coker Gas Comprehensive Utilization for LNG Production (Transformation and Upgrading) technical transformation project carried out by Ningxia Qinghua Coal Chemicals Group Co., Ltd. It has been nearly three months since the project team arrived at the site on June 26, 2021. To ensure compliance with the contract obligations toward the owner and to strengthen the mutually trusting and friendly relationship with Qinghua, while carrying out on-site work in accordance with the EPC general contract, the project team also took on the tasks of completing unfinished construction works, carrying out repairs, and continuing construction projects for Ningxia Qinghua during the 2012–2014 period. Intense project schedules, heavy tasks, a large number of locations, a wide scope of work, substantial workload, and numerous coordination matters have been the norm since the start of the Ningxia Qinghua project. As soon as the personnel arrived, they got to work hard; the project team faced tremendous pressure from the very beginning. Three months after starting work, the project team carefully analyzed the volume of work on site, conducted a thorough assessment of both new and existing work tasks, and addressed any gaps in all aspects such as design, procurement, and construction. With strong support from the company’s leadership, design and procurement efforts have progressed swiftly, and the project team has taken proactive actions on site, continuously increasing efforts to mobilize and deploy construction resources. At present, the main civil engineering works for both the new and existing sections of the project have been completed, and all conditions are met for installation. Equipment is arriving in large numbers; pipelines account for over 75% of the total amount delivered, creating all the conditions necessary to proceed swiftly with the installation work.
