With the **Environmental Protection Department’s regulations requiring the use of clean energy to replace coal, fuel for industrial boilers has become an issue in many cases. Coal is facing phased out use, while natural gas is expensive and subject to geographical restrictions; in some areas, there are no pipelines available at all. Therefore, we plan to use fuel oil as a substitute for coal. This not only helps to reduce the economic costs associated with using gas but also meets the requirements set by the regulations regarding the phasing out of coal-fired boilers. Here, we would like to ask those who are experts in this field: can aniline tar and phenol tar be processed into fuel suitable for use in boilers? What precautions need to be taken?
