On April 10, prior to the first contract milestone for the PC general contracting project of the 1.8 million tons per year ethylene glycol production facility as part of the first phase of Shaanxi Coal Group Yulin Chemical Co., Ltd.’s demonstration project on the utilization of coal to produce new chemical materials (hereinafter referred to as the “Shaanxi Coal Ethylene Glycol project”), Donghua Technology completed the delivery of the first batch of materials required for the project, which was highly recognized by the client. This demonstrates Donghua Technology’s capabilities in carrying out engineering projects. As cooperative suppliers of Donghua Technology, a pipe manufacturing company based in Shandong and a technology company based in Tianjin overcame the constraints related to resuming work during the pandemic as well as various other difficulties. Upholding the spirit of honest cooperation, they delivered the first batch of construction materials for the Shanxi Coal Ethylene Glycol project to the site 5 days ahead of schedule. The procurement contracts for the Shaanxi Coal ethylene glycol project involve large amounts and a wide variety of goods, with tight deadlines and numerous contractual milestones. To ensure that suppliers deliver the purchased goods to the project site in a timely manner as required by the contracts, the company’s procurement department established dedicated procurement channels, maintained close coordination and communication with suppliers, and accelerated the procurement process. As a result, the first contractual milestone was met ahead of schedule, marking a successful start to the procurement efforts.
