On October 11, Rongxin Chemical’s circular economy demonstration project for the production of 400,000 tons of coal-based ethylene glycol and 300,000 tons of polyoxymethylenemethane per year (the ethylene glycol part of this project) successfully passed the completion inspection by the Energy Group. Leaders including the Party Committee of the Energy Group, Deputy General Manager Zhang Ruoxiang, Assistant to the General Manager and Director of the Safety Supervision Bureau Hu Nengying, Deputy Chief Engineer An Manlin, as well as heads of relevant departments of the Energy Group, and Ji Wenpu, Deputy General Manager of the Chemical Company, Secretary of the Party General Branch of Rongxin Chemical, and Executive Director, attended the acceptance meeting at the main venue in the Shandong Energy Building. In his speech, Zhang Ruoxiang, Party Secretary of the Energy Group and Deputy General Manager, pointed out that under the correct leadership of the Energy Group, Rongxin Chemical and all parties involved in the project pursued the goal of achieving national excellence, strictly adhered to the \"four key controls,\" and, after nearly two years of hard work, managed to complete the project on schedule and bring it into operation. The project passed the completion inspection successfully, holding significant exemplary value in the history of project construction at the Energy Group. Zhang Ruoxiang demanded that Rongxin Chemical continue to strengthen the rectification of issues and implement a closed-loop management system to provide strong support for the ‘stable, safe, efficient, and sustainable’ operation of the chemical industry ； It is necessary to summarize the construction experience and play a demonstrative role, providing reference for the construction of other projects within the energy group as well as for the promotion of the EPC model ； It is necessary to strengthen safety standardization, build a solid safety barrier, and improve the level of intelligence at the site ； To optimize system operations, ensure full production and effectiveness, and leverage the demonstration role of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Neimongol base as a profit growth driver ； We must focus on industrial expansion, make breakthroughs in fine chemicals, and strive to be at the forefront of the high-quality development of the coal chemical sector. The acceptance expert group watched a documentary on the construction of Phase II, listened to reports on the progress of the project and the results of the joint commissioning, as well as special reports from Chengda, Hualu, Wuhuan Companies, and Guangdong Guoxin Supervision. The acceptance experts were divided into 5 specialized teams to inspect the physical aspects of the project on site; after reviewing the relevant documents, they unanimously agreed that Rongxin Chemical’s circular economy demonstration project for the annual production of 400,000 tons of coal-based ethylene glycol and 300,000 tons of polydimethyl ether (the ethylene glycol portion) passed the acceptance criteria. The meeting was chaired by Shao Changyou, director of the Engineering Supervision Center of the Energy Group. Ye Shengfang, a senior technical expert from the Energy Group, along with more than 50 others including officials from the Future Energy Coal-to-Oil Branch, Yulin Methanol Plant, Ordos Energy Chemical Company, and the heads of various construction units, attended the acceptance meeting at the Rongxin Chemical venue.
