On August 31, after more than a month of relentless effort and through the coordinated efforts of the gasification center, the organic sulfur project team, and Sinochem Third Construction Company, the last vent valve for this nozzle was installed, marking the completion of all installation work related to this nozzle in the conversion cooling unit of the gasification center. At the start of this head-shifting work, the purging and airtightness testing of the conversion cooling unit were in full swing. As an air purging and gas storage device powered by a coal-lock gas compressor, there was a significant amount of overlapping work between its purging operations and the head-shifting installation process. To ensure the installation schedule without disrupting the work related to the conversion cooling unit as well as the plant-wide purging and airtightness testing, the Gasification Center and Sinochem Third Construction carried out detailed planning regarding the sequence and progress of the construction tasks. Safety verification requirements and procedures were established before pipeline removal and installation, to ensure that these two sets of tasks could be carried out in a coordinated manner. By the deadline, a total of 1,829 inches of pipeline was installed for the organic sulfur conversion units of the conversion cooling device, 34 valves were installed, and 18 blind flanges were installed. >>>
