Clicks: 17. On February 14, the medium-term maintenance work at Jiangxi Xinlianxin Company began. This mid-term maintenance is the first one carried out since the production system was put into operation. At 17:44 on the afternoon of February 26, the production system of Jiangxi Xinlianxin Company successfully carried out the first feed operation of the water-coal slurry gasifier during the mid-term maintenance, taking a solid step toward a complete success in this maintenance process. To ensure the smooth feeding of materials into the gasifier, the gasification workshop of the Sixth Plant and all relevant personnel worked together to complete all maintenance tasks on time, to the required quality, and in the required quantities, thereby ensuring the smooth operation of the entire system. During the initial phase of operation, the gasification plant conducted multiple rehearsals for feeding operations to ensure that the system’s interlock valves functioned accurately. By analyzing past incidents, corresponding contingency plans were developed to guarantee a smooth feeding process for the gasification furnace. At 16:00 on February 26th, Furnace A for gasification was shut down, marking the start of the feeding phase on time. Upon the command issued from the control room, the personnel on site, who were ready to act, quickly lifted out the preheating burner and sealed off the vault. The control room immediately switched to the syngas blind valve and began nitrogen purging; the entire process was carried out smoothly and efficiently. After the sampling analysis confirmed that the nitrogen displacement was satisfactory, the process burner was put into operation officially. The system pressure increased normally without any abnormalities, and the feeding of materials into the gasifier was successful on the first attempt!
