On March 15, 2022, the high-voltage primary power supply to the ammonia synthesis distribution room of Zhejiang Balin Hengyi’s technical upgrade project, undertaken by Jiuhua Jian Zhongyuan Branch, was successfully established. The Zhejiang Baling Hengyi hydrogen production upgrade and by-product ammonia production improvement project involves building a new coal-based hydrogen production facility with an output of 50,000 m3/h, based on the existing 500,000 tons/year caprolactam production plant; this facility will also produce 300,000 tons/year of synthetic ammonia, along with a corresponding air separation unit capable of handling 60,000 m3/h of air. Once completed, the project will enable the formation of a complete integrated industrial chain. The successful power supply to this substation ensures a power supply for the proper operation of equipment related to purification and synthesis in the project, and it also creates the conditions necessary for subsequent tasks such as individual testing of motors and the lighting of the entire facility.
