The 1# steam turbine generator set is the first large-scale unit of Zhongan United to complete the test runs under design conditions. Since the unit was connected to the grid, the Public Utilities Department of Zhong’an United has focused on achieving long-term operational stability for the unit. By emphasizing special care for large-scale units, it has implemented a thorough maintenance system, stepped up efforts in equipment maintenance and routine inspections. Starting with improved management of the lubricating oil used in the unit, it has paid close attention to the proper implementation of various procedures and regulations. Daily joint inspections are carried out by operators, mechanical engineers, electrical specialists, instrumentation technicians, and equipment managers, thereby ensuring effective equipment operation and maintenance and promptly addressing any issues that arise during operation. While strengthening equipment management, the Public Works Department of Zhongan United identifies the bottlenecks that hinder the stable, efficient, and continuous operation of the units, based on their operational conditions, in order to optimize unit operation control. To address the problems of high bearing vibration and large thermal expansion during the initial commissioning phase of the unit, which affected its safe and stable operation, the Public Works Department took proactive action without waiting for external assistance. It organized technical analyses and evaluations in collaboration with equipment manufacturers, construction, and commissioning teams, and by drawing on successful experience in the operation and management of similar units, it developed practical technical improvement plans and implemented them. These efforts eliminated the technical barriers that hindered the unit’s stable operation, laying a solid foundation for the continuous and stable operation of Unit 1 steam turbine generator.
