Location: Within the existing industrial complex of Shandong Hualu Hengsheng Chemical Co., Ltd., Dezhou City, Shandong Province Total investment: 3,168.34 million yuan Scope of construction: Construction of 2 sets of facilities capable of producing 40,000 tons of nylon 66 per year, 1 set of facility for producing 200,000 tons of adipic acid per year, 1 set of facility for producing 40,000 tons of hexamethylenediamine per year, and 1 set of facility for producing 360,000 tons of nitric acid per year. Using cyclohexanol, hydrogen, liquid ammonia, and hexanenitrile as raw materials, these facilities will produce adipic acid and hexamethylenediamine, which are then used to manufacture nylon 66. At the same time, build supporting facilities for the storage and transportation of raw materials and products, utility systems and auxiliary production facilities, as well as environmental protection facilities. Some public utilities such as water, electricity, and gas, as well as auxiliary facilities and environmental protection systems, are made use of those already available within the company. The basic raw materials, liquid ammonia, hydrogen, and cyclohexanol, are supplied by the company’s existing facilities.
