The pilot production plan for the air separation and gasification systems of Jinfeng Xifenghang’s #2 system has been preliminarily approved. Li Zhijie and Ren Dengfeng, the deputy general managers, Zhang Yanlong, the deputy director of the branch factory, as well as the heads of various production departments and units attended the meeting. In accordance with the requirements of the **Ministry of Work Safety’s Measures for the Safety Supervision and Management of Hazardous Chemicals Construction Projects** and the **Shandong Province Standards for the Safe Commissioning of Chemical Plants**, the meeting conducted a preliminary review of the company’s pilot production plans and commissioning plans for the air separation and gasification units in System 2. At the meeting, the attendees listened to a presentation by the Production Technology and Environmental Protection Team on the progress of the project construction as well as a report on the trial production plan. They carefully reviewed the trial production plan and examined the relevant documents, and provided suggestions for addressing the safety hazards present at the project site as well as the issues identified in the trial production plan. The meeting concluded that the trial production plan and the startup plan were prepared in accordance with the relevant specifications and requirements, and could effectively guide the trial production phase of the project; therefore, approval of these plans was granted. Finally, the participants stated that they would strictly follow the suggestions and recommendations put forward at the meeting, make every effort to complete the preparations before commencing operation, and ensure that the project starts production on schedule so as to produce qualified products successfully. It is reported that the environmental protection comprehensive improvement project for Xi Fengtian Company’s No. 2 gasification system was carried out as an upgrade in response to the \"2019 Action Plan for Winning the Battle to Protect the Blue Skies in Shanxi Province\" and other relevant local regulations. It upgrades the gasification process while maintaining the original scale and production capacity; the existing 10 φ2650 intermittent gas generation furnaces are replaced with 5 φ3600 pure-oxygen continuous gasification furnaces, along with a 16,000 Nm3/h cryogenic air separation unit. The subsequent purification, compression, synthesis units, auxiliary production facilities, and utility systems are adapted using the existing infrastructure. The production capacity remains unchanged after the upgrade, offering the company effective ways to reduce production costs, improve environmental management, and optimize its industrial structure.
