Date: May 31, 2022. Clicks: 16. From May 25 to May 27, Inner Mongolia Huaheng Energy Technology successfully carried out the installation work for these 3 formaldehyde circulation towers. The 3 formaldehyde circulation towers being lifted this time are the tallest tower-type equipment for this project; they have a height of 45.56 meters, a diameter of 3 meters, and a weight of 81.4 tons. Over a period of 3 days, the successful lifting of all 3 formaldehyde circulation towers in one go was achieved. Project Overview: Inner Mongolia Huaheng Energy’s 312,000-ton BDO + 60,000-ton PBAT production facility. The integrated production project for PTMEG and PBAT advanced materials carried out by Inner Mongolia Huaheng Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has a total investment of 10.5 billion yuan; it is located in the Low-Carbon Industry Park of Wuhai Economic Development Zone in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Construction contents: 3 × 104,000 tons/year BDO plants, 4 × 46,000 tons/year PTMEG plants, a 60,000 tons/year PBAT plant, a natural gas-based hydrogen production plant with a capacity of 28,000 standard cubic meters per hour, 3 × 240,000 tons/year formaldehyde plants, as well as supporting calcium carbide plants with a capacity of 360,000 tons/year; 3 × 220 t/h high-pressure coal powder boilers (2 in use and 1 as backup); utility systems, auxiliary facilities, and environmental protection systems. Once the project is operational, it will provide employment for 2,000 people, and indirectly create jobs for another 5,000 people in the surrounding area. It will also directly contribute to the development of the regional economy and related industries in the vicinity. The project underwent a second public consultation for environmental impact assessment on April 7, 2021; at that time, the capacity indicated in the environmental impact assessment report was 720,000 tons per year for BDO and 60,000 tons per year for PBAT.
