On June 26, with the successful completion of the nitrogen sealing renovation of Tank A for crude methanol at Huayu Company, the renovation work on its methanol storage tanks came to a successful conclusion. It is reported that after the modification, the space above the floating roof of the storage tank is protected with nitrogen to isolate the methanol inside the tank from the air outside. When the discharge pressure of the storage tank decreases, nitrogen is added; when the inlet pressure of the tank rises, ventilation is carried out through the breather valve. This improves the safety factor and also **reduces the amount of methanol that evaporates, ensuring compliance with emissions standards regarding VOCS.
