Construction begins on Hubei Liantou Xiangyang Phosphorus, Coal and Fluorine Industry Base

　　According to Sinochem New Network, recently the first phase of Xiangyang Phosphorus-Coal-Fluorine Industry Base project undertaken by Hubei Liantou Group Co., Ltd. began construction in Yicheng, with the aim of establishing the country’s first demonstration site for integrated resource recycling of phosphorus, coal, and fluorine. 　　The total investment in this project is 30 billion yuan, with an area of about 3,000 mu. It focuses on the development of large-scale production facilities for wet phosphoric acid and its purification, as well as synthetic ammonia, in order to create an industrial framework based on the integrated use of phosphorus, coal, and fluorine resources. The project will be constructed in three phases, with Phase 1 requiring an investment of around 12 billion yuan. It is scheduled to be completed and put into operation by June 2027, focusing on the development of basic phosphorus chemicals, while also fostering the growth of fluorine chemicals and coal-based chemicals. Upon completion, it is expected to generate an annual output value of 10.8 billion yuan.
