Recently, the installation of the surface flare for the first-phase completion project of Yulin Energy Chemical Complex was completed, under the EPC general contracting by Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. Installation of incinerators: This project is a new one; the modifications include the addition of a set of water seal valve assemblies for the flare system in Phase 1, as well as adjustments to the entire plant’s process systems and the external heating pipelines (involving the installation of low-flow flare gas branches for the low- and medium-pressure heavy hydrocarbons, low-pressure heavy hydrocarbons, high-pressure heavy hydrocarbons, and hydrogen-rich flare gas emission systems). Modifications are also required for the utility pipelines. Installation of the flare water seal tank: The surface flare is primarily used to address the issue of black smoke emanating from the low-pressure hydrocarbon flare due to incomplete combustion of the low- and medium-pressure exhaust gases from the first-phase flare. It is employed to handle exhaust gases during normal operations, in situations of low flow rates, during start-up and shutdown processes, as well as in emergency scenarios involving a complete outage of water and electricity throughout the plant. It is reported that this above-ground torch facility consists of two burners; the length of process piping installed is 14,426 hours, there are 9 pieces of equipment, and 150 meters of power cables have been installed. To date, all these installations have been completed, and the installation of the remaining electrical and instrumentation equipment is also nearly finished ； All 21 pressure testing kits for the pipeline have completed pressure testing, and 80% of the work on equipment insulation has been finished.
