To date, the gasification unit of Hunan Petrochemical’s project for the relocation, upgrading, and transformation of the production chain capable of producing 600,000 tons of caprolactam per year has processed over 1 million tons of caprolactam waste liquid, thereby saving an equivalent amount of fresh water. It is also stated that this gasification technology can be applied to the treatment of high-concentration saline organic waste streams generated in industries such as catalysts, epoxy resins, paints and coatings, and pharmaceuticals, providing a green and efficient solution for the recycling of industrial solid waste.
