Inteli wins bid for bulk IGBT-based hydrogen production systems for Inner Mongolia Baofeng wind-solar hydrogen project

Recently, Hubei Inteli Electric Co., Ltd. won the bid for the first-phase electrolytic water hydrogen production demonstration project of Inner Mongolia Baofeng Coal-based New Materials Co., Ltd.’s wind and solar hydrogen production project, and will supply it with multiple sets of IGBT-based hydrogen production power supplies. Located in Wushen Banner, Ordos City, this project is the world’s first demonstration project of the \"green hydrogen + coal-based olefins\" integration on a single-scale plant basis. Once completed, the \"zero-carbon\" green hydrogen produced from wind and solar energy will directly replace coal-based \"gray hydrogen\", becoming an important part of the Baofeng Ordos Green Hydrogen and Coal Chemical Industry Integration Carbon Reduction Innovation Demonstration Project. In recent years, Baofeng Group has continued to make investments in the field of green hydrogen, and Intertek has supplied it with rectifier power supplies on multiple occasions. The recently awarded batch of thousand-kilowatt-class hydrogen production power supplies features an IGBT topology and is paired with alkaline electrolyzers, thereby providing stable and efficient power conversion for large-scale green hydrogen production.
