Tender for 500 m³/h PEM electrolyzers – On April 23, 2026, the Guoneng e-Tendering website published the tender announcement for the procurement of hydrogen production equipment and associated devices using 500 m³/h PEM electrolyzers for the integrated wind, solar, hydrogen, and storage project at the Zhangye Carbon Neutrality Industry Base, operated by Longyuan Power Longyuan (Zhangye) New Energy Development Co., Ltd. The wind, solar, hydrogen, and storage integrated project of Longyuan Zhangye Carbon Neutrality Industrial Base is located in the Circular Economy Demonstration Park of the Zhangye Economic and Technological Development Zone in Gansu Province. It represents **the first green electricity-based hydrogen production project established by the Energy Group in Gansu Province. This project plans to construct a hydrogen production system using alkaline electrolysis with a capacity of 22,000 Nm³/h (3*1000 Nm³/h, 8*2000 Nm³/h, 1*3000 Nm³/h), 4 hydrogen storage tanks with a capacity of 1000 m³ each and a pressure of 3.0 MPa, 2 oxygen storage tanks with a capacity of 1000 m³ each and a pressure of 2.0 MPa, along with supporting utility systems and auxiliary facilities. The project also builds a pilot-scale verification platform for hydrogen production via electrolysis with a capacity of 2000 Nm³/h, which includes one alkaline electrolysis system with a capacity of 1000 Nm³/h and one proton exchange membrane electrolysis system with a capacity of 500 Nm³/h, along with a hydrogen storage system operating at 20 Mpa and an effective hydrogen storage capacity of 800 Nm³. The scope of this tender is the procurement of 500 cubic meter PEM electrolyzer hydrogen production equipment and associated equipment for this project. This includes the supply, transportation, unloading, installation and commissioning, related technical services, after-sales service, trial operation and handover inspection, as well as training, for 1 PEM electrolyzer with a capacity of 500 Nm³/h, gas-liquid separation equipment, purification equipment, and other associated accessories. The manufacturing of the equipment and on-site delivery shall be completed within 3 months after the tenderer issues the supply notice.
